I first discovered my love of vintage fashion playing dress up in my Grandmother's closet. By age six, I learned to sew and from then on my American Girl Doll, Felicity wore only "Couture" gowns.
Nona E. Rose is named for my 3 grandmothers, Nona Sax, Erhla Cantor and Rose Kraus. All of whom represent women of class, charm, and integrity.
My accessory line combines the originality and charm of vintage with the playful spirit of a little girl playing dress up. Many of the pieces are cast from antiques or adorned with buckles and charms recovered from old factories and flea markets.
My design philosopy has always been, 'Half of what you wear is how you wear it ' and with the right accessory, you can wear your plainest tee to your fanciest party, and your fanciest dress to your most casual affair.
